First Impression

Splash Spray arrived sooner than expected. When I took it out of the box, I was surprised by how solid the bottle was. Even though it was plastic, it was hard and solid, and for a second I actually even thought it was glass!

It had no give to it, I appreciated they didn’t skimp on the quality, so I wouldn’t have to worry about leaks. Afterall, I expected this bottle to last me a full year!

I liked the simplicity of the logo and the box of tablet refills it came with, that let me know that the ingredients were non-toxic and eco-friendly.

I appreciated that each tablet came in it’s own wrapped plastic as well to ensure freshness.

The tablets themselves were solid; I tried breaking one and found it was impossible to. I guess that meant that it really was incredibly concentrated and solidly packed to save space! The tablet didn’t smell like much either, which is great because I don’t like strong smelling sprays when I’m cleaning, so I can actually breath while I clean!

I followed the simple instructions on the box of filling the bottle with warm water, then putting in a tablet to wait until it dissolved.

Testing

There was the only thing left to do: try it.

My stove top was the first thing I tried. It is a old-fashioned gas one so I’d say it is extra difficult to clean. My first step was to put the tablet into the spray bottle that came with it and wait for it to dissolve for a few minutes.

Once I sprayed it around every corner, I let it set for a few minutes to make sure I gave it time to dissolve all the grease.

As instructed, I simply wiped it off.
